I'm Upset

You know, I don't usually get too high or two low, but this one hurts. I'm down. I feel like sometimes you just want something so much, you just want it more than everyone else, you give it your all and get your heart ripped out. I've never had a dog before, but I'd imagine this is what having your dog die feels like. If my mom were ever to have bought me that dog I always wanted this day would be worse than when my little puppy "Rev" (great dog name I feel like) died. Something's just not right. I'm kind of feel like Bob Knight right now. I just want to leave. I'm at a bit of a loss for words. I wish I could say more, but the wounds to fresh. I should probably go check in on my fellow roommates, as there have been rumors of hangings going on throughout Claver. Keep your heads up boys, we'll bounce back from this.

P.S. Positives of not getting an 8-man?
1.) Two blocked 4-men have 2 kitchens and 2 lounges?
2.) At least we still have each other?

P.S.S. Anyone who did get an 8-man today, I expect full access to your lounge, your women and most importantly your fridge next year.

We have concluded the drawing for the 8 person suites and unfortunately you did not receive a pick time. Please consult the calendar for the next process you would like to register for.
Thank You,

The Office of Residential Life

Pick times are out and the Mucc, 3, Roccodinho, and company 8 man did not receive a time. You know it's just heart-break-city. You put your heart into something and you just can't catch a break. Not to mention it's snowing 300 inches an hour right now. I'm not going to sit here and complain about the the bullshit process because everyone knows it's bullshit. The thing that pisses me off is the people who do get pick times celebrating like they just won the pennant right in front of you. Show some class. Act like you've been there before, because the same people you step on up the ladder are the people you gotta meet on your way back down. Take a moment, reflect on the dude who just died in front of you, and celebrate on your own time. And I'm not going to begin to comment about facebook statuses because remember Senior Spring when you got rejected from that Ivy League and your buddy got in and put it up on the book? Right. You also gotta love the people that shoot you a text when the times come out, "like yo times are out!" "get a good time?" No shit times are out, it's the day of reckoning like I said, you don't think I know when the times are out? And why would you preface a question with get a good time? How bout "did you get a time, because I know you've been shit out of luck lately and can't hit right on the broad side of the milky way galaxy as of late?" Either way, we lick our wounds, and we continue to advance. This one cuts real deep though. Kind of reminds me of the end of the OC season 2 when Marissa shoots Trey...nothing is ever going to be the same.

Day of Reckoning

(lower campus...the holy grail)
Today is the day of to end all days. 8 man pick time day thingy. Like honestly though, has there been a more important day in our lives? I woke up at 645 to plug our group in and don't hear now until 230? Why does BC make housing so shady. It kind of reminds me of the Pokemon trading card game. The most complicated system known to man. No one really understands it, but everyone just kind of makes up their own shit anew each day. I guess all we can do now is pray, it's in God's hands.

PS. What are the chances 3 and I get coro? I say 49% but if we do we are getting Pat Mullane's room, and using an even bigger white board. From Natty Champs, to the "people's champs," I can see it now.

Unbelievable Scene of Yesterday

(Smell ya later G-town)
So I yelled to 3 through the walls of our rooms to go post the unbelievable scene. He shouts back that he's in bed. It was I think 9 o'clock. Naturally he tells me to do it instead, but since I was knee deep in spanish studying I told him he was a joke and went on my merry way (Mrs. Dunn don't let him fool you, I'm working hard studying, and you're son is doing nothing but dropping f-bombs on a blog and sleeping). Anyway, our Unbelievable Scene of the day was VCU dominating Purdue en route to a sweet sixteen birth. I mean a week ago everyone including myself was saying these pipsqueeks didn't belong. But amidst all the talk they've slayed 3 power conference schools, and busted at least 3 million brackets. Don't mind the rams, they just decided to play some defense and dominate you suckahs.

Unbelievable scenes.

Soccer Is NOT Gay

So, some clown who shall not be named sent us this video and at first I was tempted to take the higher ground and just not respond, but I will not just stand here quietly and be disrespected like this. Soccer is not gay. Anyone who says soccer is gay, or a "pussy" sport, try taking some studs to the thigh, or a foot in the head and tell me we're not tough. Try running nonstop for 90 minutes and tell me we're not in unbelievable shape (stamina translates ladies...) Try telling me soccer is not the world's most most beloved game. Try me. I couldn't even watch this video. Made me sick. I mean I guess if you think that whole fat ass defensive lineman look is working for you, then be my guest. But girls like soccer players. Girls like 6-packs and muscular legs. So, I mean, I guess if that makes soccer "gay," I'm not so sure I want to know what being straight is like.

P.S. Watch that second video and tell me you don't get chills.

St Louis? Really?

So the NCAA Men's Ice Hockey Tourney bracket came out today and it looks like our BC Eagles got the 3rd overall seed, #1 seed in the West region. Wait what? 3rd overall? in the west? We have the best record in the NCAA, one game better than 2 seed North Dakota. Wait, who got number 1 then? Yale? Oh right Yale, that makes sense the same team we kicked the shit out of last year in the tourney, the same team that finished 2nd in their conference. Ok that's all fine but at least put us in either the Bridgeport, or Manchester regional so we can play in the northeast. Oh we got the west region in St. Louis? Oh ok. Like I said the NCAA is a joke in all aspects of life. They put Yale in Bridgeport, Merrimack and UNH in New Hampshire and us in St. Louis. I know some people from St. Louis, and I like them. But let's be honest who the hell has the time to go see us play in St. Louis this weekend? I mean what the hell, we are 19-2-1 in 2011, 9-1 over our last 10. I guess since it's the most dangerous city in America they figure Jerry York will whoop those assholes into shape out there. Oh well, the NCAA just made us real angry...and you don't want to see Jerry and the Boys angry.

Old Time Boston Athlete of the Day

It's been awhile since we did one of these. We were down around Fenway today and besides getting me a little aroused, it got me thinking. I miss those 90s Sox teams. I miss going to the games with my dad. The man in the middle of the lineup for those teams? Mo Vaughn. He was a BAD man. And by "Bad Man" I mean that in the Mucc "Bad Man" way in that he was great. Bad mean good, I guess? Anyways, sure, Mo was probably Juicin, but wasn't everyone in the 90s? He took home the 1995 MVP and the heavyset lefty just pounded the ball all over the park. The big man definately just crushed hotdogs in between innings too. They just don't make ballplayers like Big Mo anymore.
