BC Athlete of the Week

Jimmy "Showtime" Hayes. What a weekend the big forward had on the ice. He kicked off the scoring in the 4-1 rout of ZooMass on Friday night and then stole the show Saturday night to send the Eagles to the Hockey East semis with a hat trick in a 4-2 win (Jimmy, please tell me you brought some beautiful women back to the Mods after that?) He went on to capture Co-Conference Player of the Week honors after that performance and capped it off by taking your mom out to dinner and banging your sister. Anyways, keep this shit rolling Jimmy and there's no reason why we're not hanging another banner in Conte next winter.

P.S. Jimmy moves about as good as me.

Baylor Women

The 2011 NCAA Women's bracket was released tonight. I'm sure all of you were watching as UConn, Tennessee, Baylor and Stanford received number one seeds..... As for our picks, I think I can speak for Mucc in saying the the Baylor Bears are our choice to win it all. I mean, what other team in the country can boast a chick that can throw down like Brittney Griner. There's just something about those Baylor women.

Paul Stop Being Modest

If Kansas doesn't win this game by 70 they don't deserve to be allowed to compete in the following round. End of story.

PS. Who'd thought BU's hockey team wouldn't even make the Hockey East semis but their basketball team would make the tourney?

I Promised Myself I Wouldn't

Like I vowed to myself, to 3, to roccodinho, to the grave of my dead fish larry, that I would NEVER put Charlie Sheen on this blog (other than major league 1 and 2 clips ) but this shit is too good right now. It's amazing what people can do now of days with auto tuning and all that...bed intruder just got put to shame folks.

We Talkin' bout Practice?

So we caught the mouse and now everyone believes me that I'm not crazy. But I just figured out another problem we were having: Why BC's nationally televised NIT game that could be great publicity for the school, and team, and recruiting, and fans, and building a program, is being played away at McNeese St in Louisiana when we are the number 1 seed. Turns out the women's and men's hockey teams both preparing for tourney runs have practice. Makes perfect sense I mean we only got one building here at BC. Wait...No it doesn't...that makes absolutely no sense? What are talking about here...practice?! I mean the games scheduled for 9pm...none of these athletes go to class anyway, can't they have practice any time other than 9pm? I'll go down there and change the court myself if the guys are to lazy to do it. Dumb by BC, but pretty typical. Poor business move all around. I mean it's not like there are 5 thousand rinks around Newton that the men's and women's team good walk in and throw their shit down and be like "WE ARE PRACTICING HERE." If BC athletics wants people to actually care about BC Basketball, then they need to start caring.
