Jared Dudley Didn't Get the Memo?

I guess Jared must have forgotten to invite me to Strega right? I mean that's really the only explanation here. Dude comes back to BC today before his Suns play our Celts, and he forgot to take 3 and I out with him. Not really a big deal, I mean he knows we are only the greatest bloggers this side of the milky way galaxy. Simple Misunderstanding, don't worry about it Duds I'll hit you up when I'm in Phoenix!

Walker Wiggle

He's backkkkkkk. Antoine Walker is back ladies and gentlemen. No, not in the NBA, but rather on the potatoes farms with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA's D-League. 'Toine, as he was known among his devoted Celtics followers tag-teamed with Paul Pierce in the late 90s and early part of the 21st century. He later went on to win an NBA with the Heat in 2006. Over the course of his two stints in Beantown, Antoine made over $100 million, but it seems as if as his basketball talents diminished, so did his bank account. Walker was arrested on charges of drunk driving and has twice been arrested for writing bad checks to try and pay off gambling debts. He has since filed for bankruptcy. Even with his money gone, his love for the game hasn't dwindled. He's back playing in the Developmental League with hopes that he'll once again play in the NBA.
As a proud owner of NBA Live 99 for Nintendo 64 on which Antoine graces the cover, I miss him. I miss him thinking he can hit anything inside of 40 feet. I miss him playing for the worst team in Celtics history (15-67). But maybe most of all, I miss the shimmy, the Walker Wiggle, whatever your want to call it. It's unbelievable that a man who's 6-8 can shake like that. Long before there was ever the "Big Three," there was Antoine. I grew up with that man. He started my love for Celtics Basketball. So, let's everyone take a moment, and do the Walker Wiggle.

B's Playing Some Old Time Hockey

Hey, guess what? The bruins up here, they're kicking ass and taking names, just some hanson brothers hockey and recently they've won 6 in a row and sit in 3rd place in the eastern conference with just over a month of hockey left. Tomas Kaberle and Shane Hnidy have been solid additions this month, nathan Horton is playing out of his head, and Tim Thomas and Tuuka Rask (best name in Boston) have been solid between the pipes. I know hockey seems low on the totem pole as of the last 5 years, but to be honest it's still a sport that resonates with this area of the globe. Boston was a bruins city long before Tom Brady was even conceived, and I'll always be paying attention to the boys in black and gold. I'll admit last year was as tough as it gets, losing a 3-0 series lead then a 3-0 game 7 lead to the Flyers, but let's be honest if there's playoff hockey in Boston, then the city, the world, and the universe is simply a better place. So let's go B's!

Who Should Start at Short for the Sox?

There's been a lot of talk early this spring-training about who is the best fit for the Red Sox at Shortstop this coming season. Tito has insisted over, and over that it's status quo for the Red Sox's version of Quarterback, as Marco Scutaro will retain his starting job, and utility man Jed Lowrie is bench bound for another season. For some reason there are a lot of Bostononians who have a problem with this move, and I'm not really sure why. Scutaro posted solid to above average numbers last year while playing 150 games through injuries to his neck, and throwing shoulder. Now, don't get me wrong, I love Jed Lowrie, and I, like a lot of people, thought he was going to be the next coming of Nomar when he broke into the league in '08, and he still could be, but I agree with Tito that the 26 year old is not ready to take over everyday duties. Scutaro, although a worse fielder than Lowrie, has a bigger and more consistent bat, not to mention bringing 10 years of MLB experiance to the table. The sox are going to have plenty of weapons offensively, so what they need is a guy like Scutaro who can sit in the 8 spot and work the pitch count, hit some fastballs for line drives, and get on base day in and day out. I also think having Lowrie on the bench benefits this team better than him working out the kinks in the everyday lineup. Jed is young, and needs some more refining, but he can play a multitude of positions and, being a switch hitter, can pinch hit in any situation. At any rate, this type of debate is a great one for the Sox to have because both these players are solid major leaguers and show the type of depth the Sox should have this season, thoughts?

Bubble Watch

Just like this commercial, I don't think the bubble conversation is ever going to go away. After last night's HUGE win, the Eagles can enjoy a little shower time with their favorite lady as Joe Lunardi has them in the tournament.

This is Why The World Laughs at US.

Nuff Said. Do you think in North Korea they're doing this shit? Doubt it. My bet is that every family has a dartboard in their hut with a picture of this guy. Kim-Jong-il doesn't settle for three attempts at hitting the dinosaur...punk.

PS. Why are their 4 million computers in this room? Is this the Pentagon? Wouldn't be surprised.
