Walker Wiggle

He's backkkkkkk. Antoine Walker is back ladies and gentlemen. No, not in the NBA, but rather on the potatoes farms with the Idaho Stampede of the NBA's D-League. 'Toine, as he was known among his devoted Celtics followers tag-teamed with Paul Pierce in the late 90s and early part of the 21st century. He later went on to win an NBA with the Heat in 2006. Over the course of his two stints in Beantown, Antoine made over $100 million, but it seems as if as his basketball talents diminished, so did his bank account. Walker was arrested on charges of drunk driving and has twice been arrested for writing bad checks to try and pay off gambling debts. He has since filed for bankruptcy. Even with his money gone, his love for the game hasn't dwindled. He's back playing in the Developmental League with hopes that he'll once again play in the NBA.
As a proud owner of NBA Live 99 for Nintendo 64 on which Antoine graces the cover, I miss him. I miss him thinking he can hit anything inside of 40 feet. I miss him playing for the worst team in Celtics history (15-67). But maybe most of all, I miss the shimmy, the Walker Wiggle, whatever your want to call it. It's unbelievable that a man who's 6-8 can shake like that. Long before there was ever the "Big Three," there was Antoine. I grew up with that man. He started my love for Celtics Basketball. So, let's everyone take a moment, and do the Walker Wiggle.
