Who Is Boston's Best Player?

Rcently Boston.com has been having a "Boston's best player bracket," and it's been really interesting to see the results. Today is the final four, and it's come down to Tom Brady, Jon Lester, Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett. Obviously Brady should win this everyday and twice on sunday, but the real gripe I had with this actually cool idea was Jon Lester winning the elite 8 matchup with Rajon Rondo. Rondo is clearly one of the best point guards in the nba...like top 5...lester is what, top 15 pitcher? I mean I love Lester I think he is going to be good in the future and is an amazing story...but give me a break, Rondo is 300 times more valuable to the celts, not to mention Lester's big year came in a year when the Sox did shit. But anyway, everyone should vote on this so click here to vote.

Unbelievable Scene of the Day

36,000 screaming Seattle Sounders fans. Tell me soccer doesn't mean something in this country. Tell me it doesn't have a place to stay. 36,000 fans?! Fenway gets what, 38,000ish? I don't even know. All I know is the Sounders faithful was out in full force wearing their neon green to support their team in the opening match of the MLS season against Landon, Pretty Boy Becks and the rest of the LA Galaxy. Sounders lost, but you sure know where I'm heading when I sign that muli-million dollar MLS deal..... 36,000 fans screaming "Dunn! Dunn! Dunn!" I can hear it now... You can't? Anyways, go Sounders.

Penguin's Can Fly

This has to be like the MJ of the Penguins right? Like is this their version of the dunk contest? I'm pretty sure I heard the mark Jackson of penguins in the building yelling "SHUT THE BEACH DOWN SHUT IT DOWN" in the background and the KG of Penguins yelling obscenities. I give it a 10.

PS. Whys that lady just sitting their with her thumb up her ass? "Oh look a penguin just jumped 15 feet across a cravass." Fucking get up and celebrate, dougie, or do the John Wall, or something. Amateurs.

CRISIS! CRISIS!

I haven't really had time to think about this, but now I'm reading an article on how the NFLPA is going to boycott the draft...and i thought draft..and I imediatly thought: Fantasy Football. Does no NFL season mean no fantasy football?! WHAT?! I just don't know what the fuck I'm going to do without fantasy. Like what's going to be my excuse for not sleeping for a week after Joe Webb gets 11 points in the fantasy playoffs at wide reciever, when he's really a qb, and knocks me out of the playoffs? What's going to suffice for the feeling of talking shit all week and then having Michael Vick, Desean Jackson, and Jeremy Maclin score 150 points alone to win for you (no lead is safe)? And what about the draft?! It's literally the greatest event of the year...it's like Christmas and your birthday wrapped into one with thanksgiving on the side. All the random "fuckkkkks" and "shittttTTs" when players are rattled off the board...and then in the 14 round Ponz going "FUCK I HATE MY TEAM" and Vince not speaking because he knows if he speaks he'll just give away his next pick, and Keegan taking johnny lee higgens, and terrence showing up late...AND WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO! AHHHHHHHH SOUND THE ALARMSSSSSSSS.

Unbelievable Scene of the Day

I know it's a little late, this actually happened Saturday night, but I've got to give a shout out to my hometown Lady Winnacunnet Warriors for taking home the Division I state championship. I know, I know two girls basketball posts in one night? Well lay off! These girls can ball. This wasn't just any state championship, this was the Lady Warriors fifth straight! That's right, half a decade worth of championships. They haven't lost a friggin game since George Bush was in office (no, not an exaggeration, they've actually won 70 straight). No one thought this years' team would take home the title, but you know what, haters gon' hate. Commodore Beattie just breeds winners. And you know what else, they only lose one starter. I'm thinking they'll bring back a sixth just for kicks. Some of my favorite high school memories were whiting-out SNHU and doing the roller coaster with the Founding Fathers and then hanging out the window of the Audi on the parade through town. Then, of course, there was Ed and Doz to get me all teary eyed back at the gym. Anyways, shout out to the Lady Warriors for what is, and what looks like what will continue to be and UNBELIEVABLE run. Actually, shout out to all of Warrior country. I miss it.
