Jump on the Bandwagon

It's amazing. I've never seen a sport with such a strong influx of bandwagoners as NHL hockey. I'd be a hypocrite if I didn't preface this by saying that I have jumped on the Bruins bandwagon so hard. I'll be the first to admit I watched about six and a half minutes of hockey during the entire regular season, but now that it's playoff time I love it. Playoff hockey is a totally different animal. They hit, they scrap, they take pucks in the face. Jack Edwards commentates like at any moment the world could come to an end. People, non-diehard fans like myself, can see this, they can feel it. And, you know what, they like it. I watched every game of the Montreal series (fuck Canada) and I'm sitting there with my hands sweating and my heart going a million miles a minute. When Subban hit that bomb with 2 minutes left in Game 7 my heart sank. I was crushed. Not only had I developed an absolute hatred of that man, but I had developed a hardcore schoolboy crush on the Bruins. What I came to find out, however, is that a lot of people have that very same crush on the Bs. Facebook and Twitter just blowing up about Horton and Jack Edwards and that asshole Subban. Everybody's on this Bruins playoff train and all we can hope is they keep it rolling. Keep jumping on that bandwagon people. I did, and let me tell you, it's one hell of a ride. Go Bruins!!!

Thank God It's Friday

Royal Wedding? Psh get out of here royalty, here in the free and independent state of Massachusetts we have Stanley Cup playoffs, NBA Playoffs, the NFL Draft, and a heat wave all on the last weekend before finals weekend...lesgo. Let's get this weekend started. Thank the lord it's here.

Would You Rather

Heres a WYR for all you BC superfans out there. Would you rather Herzlich return for another year of football (even if thats never going to happen, just pretend it could) or Reggie Jackson return for another year of basketball?

Give me Reggie Jackson every time. I think in order for our basketball team to have a chance at being half way decent next year we need him back. The team is already losing the all mighty John Cahill, without Reggie what is left. And I know losing Herzlich is a big loss, but honestly I would rather see him play in the NFL than for BC again. Herzlich has had an amazing journey and the only way it will get any better is if he goes to the NFL and succeeds. I think football's defense is good enough already so we can deal with the loss of Herzlich. Come on Reggie give us one more year. We want some more, we want some more, we want some more Reggie.

PS- Good luck to you, Herzlich. Seriously nobody deserves it more than you. Can't wait to hear your name called tonight.

Someone Explain This To Me

So I'm filling out at Res Life survey as part of my punishment for a certain incident when I came across this gem. One of the possible answers for your gender is "other." What does other mean? It has to be transvestite right? But that got me wondering what exactly makes you a transvestite? Boobs and a penis is surely a tranny. But is a vagina and no boobs a tranny too? And if it is what defines no boobs? If you don't have female breasts but large male pecs are those boobs? Or if you have female breasts but they are just really small do they count? I have so many questions yet there are so few answers. Where do we draw the shemale line? A better question is how important is it that we draw this line? Or maybe the true question is why am I so curious about transvestites, but thats neither here nor there. BC would have been better off just leaving "other" out and making all the trannies that get written up just click male and female. Frankly this has brought up more questions than there are answers.
