Ping Pong Shot of The Decade
Sweet shot, but I think the bigger upset is that neither of these guys are Asian.

Would You Rather
Would you rather go through school as we normally do here at BC, with five classes and a week of finals, or take seven classes a semester, but have no finals?
My Answer: Seven Classes
I hate finals so much its ridiculous. In a couple of my classes this semester the finals are no big deal, not cumulative and worth as much as a normal test. However in the rest of my classes they are a do or die scenario. Cumulative and 40-50% of my grade. Just absolute game changers. And they're going to be hard as fuck so there is no way I get a decent grade on all of them. I could be acing a class one minute and next thing I know I get raped by a final and boom, somebody's got a D. I could easily fuck with seven classes a semester. I know some of you might get overwhelmed by that, but I would manage by throwing in a few extra skips in each semester. And skipping a few extra classes is nowhere near as bad for your grade as bombing a final. With the rate I'm skipping these days I'm basically only in three classes so two more would be no big deal.

Unbelievable Scene of the Day

The Scenes took the show on the road tonight as Mucc and I hit Fenway Park for the Sox Angels game. It was only a fifteen minute span, but in those fifteen minutes my world was turned upside down with just one giant, continuous unbelievable scene. It started off with a man hopping onto the field near Pesky Pole, not really running, more so boucing around with his hands in the air a little bit like something you'd see in out of Rocky. At a full sprint from the bullpen, a security officer caught the intruder with the single greatest hit I've ever seen. When I say he crunched him, I mean he broke the dude's ribs. Hands up and totally exposed the guy just got absolutely rocked and what ensued was absolute hysteria and multiple standing ovations for the Ray Lewis like security guard. I know the Pats didn't really fill their need for an OLB or DE in the draft, but I feel like this guy could be the missing piece? Anyways, it didn't take long for the next great moment to occur as the Bruins score came up on the Monster and a deafening "Let's Go Bruins!" chant rang out through Fenway. David Krecji netted the winner and once again the Bs took home an overtime win and, more importantly, take two wins back to the Bean as they head into Game 3. Literally 30 seconds later the Sox closed out a big time win on the back of a Big Papi home run. And to top it all off, on our way out of the most beautiful place on earth we saw the most beautiful woman on earth. Heidi Watney just strutting her stuff in the depths of Fenway. Now, she looks nice on TV, but in person she's a totally different animal. Just absolutely smokin hot and just begging me to rip those white jeans she was wearing off and conduct a one on one interview with her later... Work it Heidi

Celtics Lose To Heat--Pierce Ejected--Kills Osama

(Pierce at the Osama Killing After Party)
So I was going to rant a rave about how much malarkey that game was in Miami yesterday, but I totally get it now; Pierce was ejected so he could catch his private jet to Pakistan and slay Osama. Just a shame the operation had to roll on the day of game 1, but so is life, Obama understands the Heat winning game 1 means nothing and that Pierce was needed to finish off a mass murderer. On that note I'd like to point out that the Celtics shot horribly and turned the ball over 47 times. I think we'll be OK here. Everyone was just tense about Paul's dangerous mission; again, understandable. I mean even Stan Van Gundy knew that the game was a joke when he asserted that James Jones was a better shooter than Ray Allen, and mark jackson bellowed that Pierce assaulted Jones with a headbutt. No, no, Mr. Jackson, the only one Pierce was getting ready to assault was that cave dwelling maniac in Pakistan. Can't wait for this series to actual start!! From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, the world knows the Celts shall win this series.

The Storming Of Oneil
From the halls of Bapst library to the shores of that weird fountain, to the beaches of Oneil, last night was D-Day here at BC, and we were not to be stopped. Party like its 1995, economy's up and straight kicking ass.

Proud To Be An American

There we all stood, banging on the doors of Oneil Library, the library named for that great US Senator, and there we waited, as two cops inside took off their hats, got their keys out, and opened the doors. They let us march on in and take the building as if we were the troops on D-day storming the beaches. As we all congregated there, chanting and singing, I turned around and looked at one of the cops: He stood speechless, eyes swollen, mouth gaping, and had his phone out video-taping the entire scene. This man wasn't trying to get kids in trouble or file a report. This guy stood there to film this advantageous jubilee so that he could go home to his wife, and his children, and his grandchildren, and tell them "this is what America is all about." Neither I, nor the officer filming last night knows if Al Queda is finished or if this War on Terror is, or will ever be "over." We don't know if Republicans and Democrats will ever get along, or if the energy crisis will ever be solved. We live by what we know, and what we know, and knew last night, is that America, at its deepest core, is not about our disagreements or our weaknesses, but about the ideals, beliefs, and freedoms we all enjoy together under our flags, our songs, our unity and our justice. It's about what Francis Scott Key wrote back in 1813 "And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there." Through the hard times, the destruction, the argument, and the bombs, our flag, our resolve, our togetherness was and always will return, always will be there. That is what this BCPD officer filmed to show his family, that is what we all remember on nights like last night.
