Celtics Lose To Heat--Pierce Ejected--Kills Osama

(Pierce at the Osama Killing After Party)
So I was going to rant a rave about how much malarkey that game was in Miami yesterday, but I totally get it now; Pierce was ejected so he could catch his private jet to Pakistan and slay Osama. Just a shame the operation had to roll on the day of game 1, but so is life, Obama understands the Heat winning game 1 means nothing and that Pierce was needed to finish off a mass murderer. On that note I'd like to point out that the Celtics shot horribly and turned the ball over 47 times. I think we'll be OK here. Everyone was just tense about Paul's dangerous mission; again, understandable. I mean even Stan Van Gundy knew that the game was a joke when he asserted that James Jones was a better shooter than Ray Allen, and mark jackson bellowed that Pierce assaulted Jones with a headbutt.

No, no, Mr. Jackson, the only one Pierce was getting ready to assault was that cave dwelling maniac in Pakistan. Can't wait for this series to actual start!! From Stettin in the Baltic to Trieste in the Adriatic, the world knows the Celts shall win this series.

The Storming Of Oneil

From the halls of Bapst library to the shores of that weird fountain, to the beaches of Oneil, last night was D-Day here at BC, and we were not to be stopped. Party like its 1995, economy's up and straight kicking ass.

Proud To Be An American

As 3 and I stormed Oneil library last night with probably 2,000 other students here at BC, it was beautiful to see the patriotism and unity on display that our great land sometimes forgets. It's what makes being American so great. The idea that one shot can ignite a nationwide party that simply will not be stopped. I mean, we hit the libraries, the quads, the mods, and came just shy of full on storming the stadiums, but to me it wasn't the places, it was the people. The standard USA chants, the God bless Americas, the hugs and high fives, the reading of the declaration of independence, and the teary-eyed national anthems. One unbelievable scene stood out in particular that I think sums up last night, and every night our great land comes together and remembers our undeniable ideals:

There we all stood, banging on the doors of Oneil Library, the library named for that great US Senator, and there we waited, as two cops inside took off their hats, got their keys out, and opened the doors. They let us march on in and take the building as if we were the troops on D-day storming the beaches. As we all congregated there, chanting and singing, I turned around and looked at one of the cops: He stood speechless, eyes swollen, mouth gaping, and had his phone out video-taping the entire scene. This man wasn't trying to get kids in trouble or file a report. This guy stood there to film this advantageous jubilee so that he could go home to his wife, and his children, and his grandchildren, and tell them "this is what America is all about." Neither I, nor the officer filming last night knows if Al Queda is finished or if this War on Terror is, or will ever be "over." We don't know if Republicans and Democrats will ever get along, or if the energy crisis will ever be solved. We live by what we know, and what we know, and knew last night, is that America, at its deepest core, is not about our disagreements or our weaknesses, but about the ideals, beliefs, and freedoms we all enjoy together under our flags, our songs, our unity and our justice. It's about what Francis Scott Key wrote back in 1813 "And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there." Through the hard times, the destruction, the argument, and the bombs, our flag, our resolve, our togetherness was and always will return, always will be there. That is what this BCPD officer filmed to show his family, that is what we all remember on nights like last night.

Unbelievable Scene of The Day

Kill-shot Osama, how you like US now? I can see all the victims of 9/11 just standing with Jesus, Zeus, Elvis, George Washington, and Babe Ruth, laughing and booing at the bro as he gets rejected by the angels at the pearly gates.

Smell ya later Bin-Laden, send Hitler our fuck you's.

Wild Ride

Been a crazy week folks. An absolute roller coaster ride. I took the music work to the field this weekend on friday and went to Bamboozle. Ridiculous amounts of artists just absolutely bringing the noise on stage. Wiz was definitely a great show, but the group that just skyrocked up the charts was the Dean's list. Energy level was sky high and seeing them perform allowed everyone in the crowd to catch a glimpse at what true bliss is. Then on Saturday that joy should have been shared with Big Herz. I was definitely a resident in heartbreak city, and unfortunately 94 was the mayor. We rally when we fall, but nobody rallies like Herz, and there is no doubt in my mind theres going to be a Herzlich 254 documentary someday.

On a brighter note I found a pretty chill new artist out there called Pj Simas. The guy bust out some pretty good songs. Is it a red flag that his two best songs have the girl vocalists stealing the show? Maybe, but its a bottom line game, and those two songs are fire. Ocean Drop is my favorite and the girls voice is just fire. Instant repeat song. The other champ song is That Good life. All of his stuff is just very chill, which is clutch because you can bump it when you gear up for the final war that is finals. Good Luck kids.

Grab his mixtape here, That Good Life, Imma Party

Fuck The NFL

I'm so sick of this shit. Lockout? Ok, i'll let it happen I understand it's a bussiness. Court case? Ok, fine we gotta resolve it somehow. Not one team drafting BC's Mark Herzlich? That's where I fucking draw the line. I'm sick of Goodell, and I'm sick of the owners, and the coaches and Tom Brady's long hair. Mr. Goodell I have no respect for you, none. You are a cowardly man who sits in his office and thinks that you are above the rest of these money hungry assholes. To the owners: you are the scum of the earth, you have no souls and I have no respect for you either, but fucking figure it out. To the players: you play a game for a living and make more money than 99% of Americans, shut up and play. I realize that in a relative scale you make less money than the owners, and you want a cut of the action, but remember you play a sport for millions of dollars, tell the coal miner in West Virginia who climbs inside a mountain to make minimum wage. Tom Brady: cut your fucking hair you pansy pretty boy, I want my short haired warrior back.

Now on to the Herzlich affair. The 32 NFL teams should be ashamed. Ok so he's lost a step I understand that. And maybe the guys in the later rounds had better credentials (even though I know for a fact half of them didn't), but at that point doesn't skill not matter as much as will? Dude beat cancer? That's a bigger win than the lions, browns, raiders have ever had combined. Piss off, honestly. I know one thing for certain, when you open Mark Herzlich up and you look inside him you'll see a heart the size of the milky way galaxy; and that's the man I want going to battle for me on sunday.
