A Tradition Unlike Any Other

I have to admit, right now nothing seems to be going right in at least my sport's hemisphere. First, The Sox are dogging it out there, losing to lowly Indians in front of 10 people. Secondly, The celtics, although looking good last night for the most part, are still banged up and limping ever so slightly, And lastly, I won't even touch on the obsurdity that is the NFL lockout. But at any rate I've slept easy this week knowing there is one 4 day event that the Football God's (and yes there are no other gods except football ones) can not strip from my soul. The Masters. Thursday through Sunday of this week we can relish one of the greater sporting events that exists today. You know why the masters is great? Because you can root for anyone really, and get behind any common man who swings a good stick. I mean there are the obvious enemies; all Englishmen, and that dude Carmilo Villegas and his gay way of reading puts...hate that guy. But other than that pretty much all guys are fair game, thus always assuring master's Sunday will be interesting. There's nothing like watching CBS's coverage of amen corner, and watching dudes just drop pin point shots, take huge gambles, and make 30 foot putts to the roar of the largest gallery in the world. Also, is it just me or is it always dusk in Augusta? Like always. Gives it that prestigious feel you know? Anyway, I definitely rooting for Tiger in this one. I mean I just hate Phil, even though I'm a lefty, I feel like he gets the good guy wrap and Tiger obviously gets the banging 1000 chicks, asshole, wrap. I'm fine with the latter, plus Phil is fat again. I guess, I just love seeing guys do things right in the haters face, reminds me of when Larry Legend got hurt in the 5th game of the Pacers series in '91, and the announcers said he was done, but #33 just came back out and stuck shot after shot in Chuck Person eye. Let's go Tiger.
