Former Golden State Warrior big man, Troy Murphy, has signed with the Boston Celtics and NOT the Miami Heat. Reports say Murphy spent much of the last 48 hours agonizing over the decision between going to the Celtics or the Heat. In the end the 6-10 Murphy decided on the C's in anticipation of a deep playoff run. What does this say about our Celtics? Players want to come play here. They want to win here. They know this is a winning environment unlike that circus down in Miami.
Murphy fits into the Celtics perfectly as he solidifies the interior as he is a proven rebounder and also someone who can come in off the bench and stretch defenses with his three ball. Great pickup by the Celts, not only did they fill a void they're going to need going into the playoffs, but they also stole him away from their biggest threat in the East. Fuck you Lebron.
