Gotta love the New York Knickerbockers, just have to. Every time they play us they give us their best shot. They just stand up to the big bad bullies from Boston and punch us as hard as they can, and granted maybe last night they did make us bleed a little. But no one makes Ray Allen bleed his own blood. And like always we let them punch us, and then stood up and punched them right square in the temple rendering them unconscious. Seriously though, there is nothing more they can do. They got Melo, Chauncy is back, and the fans were wild, playoff wild. But like always the score board read Boston More and Knicks less. Last night was particularly interesting because you'd think the Celtics, on kind of a slide lately, would wilt down 12 at halftime against an energized Knicks team. But no, nope. KG just wouldn't allow it. I've said it once and I'll say it again, the NBA is about defense and in the 4th quarter last night the Celtics simply stifled the knicks and the knicks could not stop a blind kid from cranbrook elementary. Peter Reynolds of Renbrook school would have ran his "Indiana" offense all day on those guys. Like I said before, the knicks are no better with melo, and they've only continued to prove my point. Oh well, they get one more shot at us in Boston, maybe they can prove me wrong then. I doubt it. As for the Celts, great effort and resolve. I think the team is gelling with the new guys each day, and to be honest Jeff Green and Nenad are good players offensively, but more importantly, they've shown defensively that they can buy into the team concept.
